Nate Fritzen for Treasurer

Nathaniel “Nate” Fritzen is a proud graduate of Osbourn High School and a long time resident of Manassas. Currently serving in a food service supervisory role, Nate understands what it takes to lead a team, manage a budget, and deliver reliable results every single day. In a fast-paced environment, he’s responsible for tracking inventory, balancing daily sales, and ensuring operations run smoothly—skills that directly translate to the careful oversight and accountability required of a City Treasurer.

Nate has built a career in leadership roles across major retail and restaurant companies while earning his Associate’s Degree in Political Science from Northern Virginia Community College. He also holds a Food Safety Certification from the National Restaurant Association and a Virginia “C” Gas Station Operator’s License.

In addition to his professional work, Nate brings passion and pride to his community. At Osbourn, he ran cross-country, played tenor sax in the band, competed on the academic team, and participated in historical Civil War reenactments—including the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Manassas.

With a deep commitment to public service and a fresh, working-class perspective, Nate is running for City Treasurer to bring transparency, fiscal discipline, and top-tier customer service to the residents of Manassas.
